Annual Rigby/Sheriff Halloween Party

Last saturday we had our party with our cousins. It was so much fun. I am so glad that we all live so close and get together a few times a year. I know it is a lot of work for our parents between growing the punpkins, getting the tractor and trailor ready for hayrides etc etc.. But we love it. We ate lunch first, so good. This year they treated us to dutch oven. After that we all got hayrides. I think my dad gets a kick out of this personally. Finally we carved our pumpkins and they handed out goodie bags. Thanks for the party, and the play dough/ candy that ended up all over my clean car!

Kylie's new bike

This is Kylie's new bike! She was way overdue for a new one. Kris and I decided to surprise her today with one for doing so well on her report card. I dont know who was more excited Kris or Kylie. He wanted to pull her out of school to give it to her. Good thing it was early out.

Carters Birthday Party

Saturday after gardner village we had my nephews birthday party. He turned 5! I cant believe how big my nieces and nephews are getting. We ate chinese food at Empire in centerville yum and then went to my papa's for cake and ice cream. It was so much fun. Our family of 6 is getting so big now with everyone married and having kids it can be nuts at our family parties. Anyways I love them all. (most of the time)

Hootnany or German Pancakes?

So I know I am being a dork putting this on here. We have grown up eating this and if you ever slept over at my house I'm sure you had it too. If anyone actually reads this please leave a comment and let me know if this is a german pancake or hootnany. My neighbors call it a german pancake and I grew up calling it hootnany. So I'm just curious. Please ignore my dirty cooktop.

GARDNER VILLAGE

Saturday was so busy! In the morning I went to gardner village to celebrate my moms birthday with my sisters. It was so much fun, but extremely busy. It was wee wiches weekend. Next year I will take my kids they would love it. We ate at Archibalds and looked through all of the shops.
This is the only picture I have with anyone in it, I don't know who looks worse, the fake witch or me.

LAYTON PARK- UEA

So since today was the begining of UEA, I had to figure out something to do with the kids. We all decided that going to Layton park to feed the ducks and play would be fun. The bread ran out in about 5 seconds and we headed to the park.
Braxton played on one of those digger things practicly the whole time. Kylie wanted me to twirl her on one of those round things, which I did for a minute but my purse was getting in the way and so I told her to choose something else. Another girl on the toy said " why dont you put your purse down?" I was kind of irritated in that moment anyways, without someone else's child telling me what to do, so I told her " because it costed $200 and I'm not putting it in the sand." We left shortly after that and on the way back to the truck I was laughing looking at all the mothers that were there with their 32 and 44 ounces of coke. We had a good time and the weather was wonderful today. Now what to do tomorrow.

KITTENS!

So our cat Nelly had more kittens last night. She went ahead and had them in our master closet. I am pretty ticked off about this I hope the carpets come clean.... she already had 2 of them before we found her. So we now have six babies in our closet and none of our kids know about them. I am going to try and keep it that way.

Snowmen

Braxton, Kris, and Kylie building a snowman in our front yard. The kids also made Kris build one in the backyard too. There were quite a few people out in the neighborhood building snowmen with their families. I know their enthusiasm for the snow will ware off soon. We had to improvise with snowboots for Braxton and use an old barbie pair of Kylie's. I have to get to the store and buy some soon.

Saying goodbuy to summer

This is the final bouquet and veggies I will get out of my garden this year :( These dahlias are beautiful ! They are almost the size of a dinner plate. I am going to miss my garden greatly. It is my therapy and way to unwind. I already have a list of things to change and do in the garden next spring. Unfortunately I only have a few evergreens so my view is going to be dull for the next few months. Not to mention I dont know what I will do with my kids being cooped up the next few months.

Tractor pull

Seriously my son cracks me up! Our neighbor works for dewalt and so we all have wired our battery powered toys with dewalt batteries. Those babies make these things fast. Braxton has no tread on the tractor tires and has worn holes in the tires literally. I am hoping I will have enough money to replace this thing for christmas, because it has provided hours of fun. In these pictures he has tied up the wagon to the tractor with twine and used his brother as a scapegoat to pull around.

Grandparents Day

At school Kylie celebrated grandparents day. I thought it was such a nice gesture on her teachers part and it sounds likea they had a great time. Here are the picture frames she made for them so I scanned them in the computer before we gave them away. I have to say my kids are so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents!

BELIEVE

In times of uncertainty, there is no greater beacon of hope than acting on the courage of one's convictions for a better tomorrow. Right now I am going through tough times, and I have to believe in this quote to get me through the day.

DECISIONS

So I found a quote that helped me with mistakes that I have made.
Good decisions come from experience, and experience comes from bad decisions.

Bugs 101

I found a green caterpillar in one of my pots on the porch and the kids had a ball letting it climb all over them. I hope it was a beautiful butterfly that was feasting on my beautiful geraniums!

Cameron's Blessing

Ok so I am so spacey! These are pictures at the park after Cameron's blessing but I failed to get a picture of the sweet baby. I will have to get one from Rachelle. It was a fun day and now Kris says he doesn't have to go to church for another year. Lol

Mason covered in toothpaste

I had a hard time being mad at him for this, I figured he was in enough pain. Covered in toothpaste need I say more?

Kris and I in Denver

Kris and I at the entrance of the Denver Aquarium

First Days of School

Braxton's first day of preschool at Appletree. He has had his backpack since last year. He has wanted to be able to go to school just like his big sister. I cannot believe how big my kids are getting.
Kylie's first day of first grade at Heritage Elementary School.

Jessica and Tyler's wedding

Their wedding was so beautiful! I'm so proud of her, although I was sad she moved out of my mom and dad's house. After all now whose clothes am I going to steal , who are we going to play nintendo with ? Just kidding.
I didn't get very many pics of the reception because my battery died in my camara... typical. I thought these were cute pics of her with the kids, they adore her.

Sleepyhead

My sweet little Mason can fall asleep anywhere, and I do mean anywhere! Here are some funny pics of him falling asleep on the bathroom floor while I was getting ready. The other picture of him he fell asleep underneath the kitchen table while I was canning salsa! Now he just needs to learn to go to sleep in his own bed.

Birthday Party at the Zoo

Br Braxton was so excited to have his party at the zoo. It was so much fun and the weather was awesome. We rode on the train, did the bird show which was amazing, and saw all the animals. We had such a good time, it was a little nervewracking to try to stay together with 20 people but anything is worth having a smile on your childrens face.

Dont mind this picture. Ooops. Beginner
